A release from Agriculture Canada’s Canadian Artist series, these roses are high centered, rich red and semi-double. They bloom in waves throughout the season. Its dark green, near vertical stems reach upward toward a substantial height after a few years of being planted. The foliage is rarely blemished by disease and is continually covered by Emily’s blooms. Emily Carr the artist spent much of her career painting the Pacific coast of British Columbia. She also helped bring attention to the indigenous culture of Haida Gwaii.
